John had several small patches of non-malignant skin removed, some by surgery, others by using liquid nitrogen!
The church spent a weekend on the Isle of Wight and on Saturday we walked along the Coastal Path - encountering a newly wed couple enjoying ice creams on the beach!
We visited Downs House which is a privately owned house but which joins in a with a national scheme each year which involves people opening their garden to the public. A small charge is made and the money raised goes to charity. Down House has a wonderful garden, full of daffodils early in the spring, and wonderful views.
Pub lunches are always a treat and the day that we went to The Royal Oak was wonderfully warm.
