May: The girls in the Paddling Pool, visitors from St Louis and a modern granny

We continued to take the girls to Staunton Park - we had, after all got season tickets! Fortunately they love it!

Liz met Anita when she and the family were living in St Louise in the 1980s. They had kept in touch so when Anita, her mother and Anita's cousin Diane and her husband Richard were in the UK they joined us for lunch.

This is probably the only time that we put the girls in the paddling pool with water, but indoors, filled with plastic balls, it is still a source of fun.
