July: Lavender and Gliders

We visited the lavender farm looking for presents to take to North America in September. We had often driven past the farm and it was lovely to stop and buy some of their many products. The lavender fields also provided good photographic opportunities!

In September, on route to Canada, Liz put lavender products in her hand luggage - forgetting that any more than 50 cc of liquids are not allowed! Fortunately were were able to put her case onto the plane as main luggage.

We took Phil and Bobs to the Lavender Farm near Alton Liz - lost in lavender!

Bobs enjoys the sight and smell of the lavender. A glider is winched into the sky at Lasham

We went to step-cousin Hilary's 60th birthday in Canterbury and visited Blean School where Chris, Graham and Liz were at school. The caretaker showed us around. After the school visit we retired to the pub for lunch!
