August: A holiday in Northern Ireland, visiting Dorothy and a Thai Festival in Godalming

Another reflective pose - we're not sure who actually took this photograph - taken in Wales before we boarded the ferry to Dublin. From there we drove up to Northern Ireland where we stayed with John's cousin Johnny and his wife Margaret

Liz was begining to miss the gym so she had a go on a public keep fit machine! There is an explanation: John forgot his hat and had to improvise when the sun got too hot!

Johnny and Margaret's dog Basil is still chasing after the ball! John and Liz met up with a newly married couple who were having their photographs taken - and joined in!

We visited the Titanic museum - very interesting!

Those who watch "Country File" will recognise this as the location for a photograph in their 2012 calendar
- though without Liz and Margaret!

I see no ships! Margaret, John, Gerry and John

There are lots of lovely ports and harbours in Northern Ireland!

We visted John's sister Dorothy - seen here with "Joey" August marked Anne Broxton's 70th birthday so we joined their celebtrations in St Albans

Phil and Bobs join in the singing We went, with Chris and Ed, to a Thai Festival in Goldaming and saw this lady carving designs in watermelons

Don't worry - it wasn't a real elephant! Also at the Thai festival A close up of the carved water melon
