June: IM C Fun Day The Queen's Golden Jubilee, a short holiday in Suffolk with Terry and Joan, a barbeque in honour of Wren, a visit to see Dorothy, Ed shaves his beard off and Liz visits a flower show.

The IMC (In Ministry to Children) fun day usually takes place in Ram's Walk, Petersfield early in June. This year it was on the 9 June and you can see more photographs on the PACT web site.

We visited Suffolk with Terry and Joan, enjoying the few warm, sunny days that 2012 provided. We stayed in the old Priory in Lavenham and also visited Bury St Edmund's.

John: I'm old enough to remember the Queen's Coronation in 1953 and I clearly remember my Dad putting up banners around our house, which was in a small road down which little traffic passed. I remember my Dad saying "We'll do our bit for the Queen" and so when I put up our rather pathetic row of banners I remembered my Dad putting his banners up all those years ago!

We visited John's sister Dorothy on her birthday -7 June - to help celebrate her 72nd birthday. Dorothy lives in Fulbourn, which is just outside Cambridge.

The barbeque in honour of Wren was a bit late - she was nine months old in June - but it was a very enjoyable event!

Chris and Ed were planning a trip to Madagascar, where Ed' s grandfather and great-grandfather served as missionaries and doctors and he shaved his beard and hair off to raise money for charities in Madagascar.

Finally, Liz visited the flower displays in East Meon church.

Worth reading - amazing how long it has been established
and still doing what it was established to do
