The Monday before Christmas was a three-girl day as Freya was on holiday - and it rained all day. Liz did a great job of keeping them occupied after John had looked after Freya and Alice while Liz had her hair done!

We spent Christmas Day at Ross and Emma's with Bobs and Emma's parent's Pete and Rose.

On Boxing Day we walked from Emsworth to Hayling Island. There is a good coastal path but it was high tide and we had to take a detour inland.

The Christmas Tree in Emsworth is interesting: it is made with lobster pots which have been donated by the residents of Emsworth to replace the pots lost by the two lobster fishermen in winter storms. Those who donated lobster pots will receive the first lobster caught in their pot!

John is working towards making 75 blood donation because at that point he gets a free meal! At 70 (years and donations) he's well on the way.

We visited Dorothy in Fulbourn and took her to Scotsdale Garden Centre.

On the 12 December we went with Ross and Emma and girls to chose our Christmas tree.

We went to London with Curves - To Winter Wonderland and the Science Museum.

John made his 70th blood donation on 1 December - why not you? Go to: www.blood.co.uk   Not wonderful quality - but it was a photograph of the security camera screen in the Scotsdale Garden Centre!
