March: A Funeral and Devon and a Service of Remembrance in

In late February Liz's Mum lost her sister June and her brother Alan in one week. We all attended Alan's funeral in Devon on the 3 March. It was a beautiful sunny, though cold day. The service, held in Marchent Bishop church, was led by a wonderful lady vicar who read the eulogy, written by Alan's son Mike with great feeling.

Afterwards there was a wake in the local pub where there was an opportunity for family members to get together:

Bobs, Liz, Graham, Chris and Phil
The Cousins: Heather, Liz, Gordon, Mike, Graham and Chris
Following this sad reunion the cousins agreed to meet on a more cheerful occasion and it was arranged that they would all meet in Petersfield in November.
