June: A Holiday in Wales, a baby in the bath and a Golden Wedding

We have been married nearly ten years and this was the first holiday we've had on our own since our Honeymoon! We stayed in a gate Lodge just outside the small market town on Llanwrst - which was lovely apart from the noise of the traffic going past!

On the first Monday we met up with Liz's sister, Chris, and her husband, Ed, and together climbed Cader Idris.

Ross and Emma brought Freya round for a visit and as it was hot we have her a bath in the garden.

Finally, Liz made two cakes for Terry and Joan.

We stopped off at Powys Castle Very impressive!

We watched a small English Civil War demonstration... ... and Liz dressed up!

The Lodge looks idyllic... ...until you see how near it is to the road!

Inside it was cosy... ... outside it was pouring!
