We were also visited by some American Studds.

John originally planned to celebrate his birthday in The Black Sheep pub in the centre of Petersfield but the World Rugby spoilt that as the pub was showing it on their TV. Se we had part I - noon to 6 pm - in The Black Sheep and part II in the Half Moon.

John is claiming a world record: six hours in a pub with only one pint drunk! And he had to pay for it since he arrived first!

Despite his age, John was up at 3:00 am to photograph a total eclipse of the moon.

This month's Fred Trip was to Brooklands.

A big month for John - he was 70 on the 26th!

But before that we had a wonderful trip along the Chichester Ship Canal with Freya and we supported the Macmillan Coffee Morning.

Pepi - a very pretty cat - and now a very old cat!
The muscles she uses to withdraw her claws no longer work and it can be a very painful process when she jumps onto your lap!
A collection of Studds! I have, for some time, been in touch with Ron Studd who lives in the USA. In September he and two of his sons, Ron Jnr and Alex joined us for a meal at the Red Lion in Chalton
