We take Dorothy to Ireland to her step-granddaughter's wedding. To explain: Dorothy was married to Len, who died in 2005; Len had been married before he met Dorothy and had two children: Beryl and Stephen. It was Beryl's daughter, Rosie who was getting married to Shane. |
Another complicated family story: Joyce, who died in July and was buried in August was the third wife of Frank, who adopted Martin, Liz's first husband who died in a car accident in 1992. We, with Mark, Ross and Tim, attended the funeral in East Ham. Pepi, our cat died in July at the age of 21 and after a few weeks without a cat around the house we decided to get another one. Suki came from a cat's rescue centre and seems to have settled in well. She is the epitome of the expression "Cat's don't have owners, they have staff". We took Wren to Butser Ancient Farm for the day and would thoroughly recommend it. After a hot, dry summer, we braved the rain in The Square.
