Up early for the Life Church sunrise service on The Heath then family round for an Easter lunch.

John has his eyes checked again and we visit the walled garden at Cowdrey Park.

John discovers a novel library in a telephone box - pun not intended!

Liz continues to exercise Fi's car and we take Wren and Alice to Buriton.

There was a wonderful display of poppies at Fort Nelson and Joan turned 80.

John helped pick up litter around Petersfield and we both helped at Messy Church.

Regular viewers may remember that last year we featured John's left eye - this year it's the right eye! Thanks to Louise at Arnold's opticians in Petersfield who emailed me the image.

Queen Elizabeth - in the walled garden at Cowdray Park   Spotted not far from our home: a lending library in an old phone box. To borrow a book simple replace it with one of your own!

Liz and Fi's car in Midhurst   Buriton Pond and St Mary's Church, Buriton

Alice, Wren and Liz by Buriton Pond   Some of the poppies that had be displayed at the Tower of London were displayed around the country: we saw these at Fort Nelson.

Our friend Joan was 80 in April   One Sunday afternoon John helped with
a sponsored litter-pick.

John started on what was to be three sessions of treatment for skin cancer on his face this year - not malignant, but requiring intervention.   This first was application of Efudix: twice a day, two days a week for two months! It is as painful as it looks! Later in the year minor surgery took care of other areas.

Ready to serve up at Messy Church: John Ide, Pippa, Liz, Caroline and John
