We joined Michael and Becca's firework party, with Ross, Emma and Freya, Michael's parents, old friends John and Gerry and a host of others to enjoy a bonfire, fire works and good food and drink. Michael is the author of the Stryker Chronicles - exiting novels of the English Civil war.
John usually takes photographs of the Remembrance Day Service in Petersfield, which this year was blessed with bright sunshine and a large turnout of townsfolk.
The Good Intent pub in Petersfield hosts a folk meeting on the seconf Tuesday of the month and John went along, with his business partner John B to join the fun. John B joined in playing and John S filmed several songs - see the video section.
Emma and Kerry organised a wonderful Sunday lunch for the whole family in a pub in Liss to celebrate Liz's 59th birthday. There was a wonderful log fire burning and we all went back to Mark and Kerry's after lunch.
John and Terry undertook Stage 2 of the Avon and Kennett canale - we drove to Newbury, got a train to Aldermaston then walked back to Newbury.

We discovered that there was a folk club meeting in The Good Intent in Petersfield (they meet on the second Tuesday of each month, starting at 7:00 pm) and in November John took his camera along and made some videos of those playing. Visit the video page to see one of them. |
