One afternoon we drove up to the national Trust cafe in Hindhead and walked along the route of the old A3 - now a footpath. Its was amazing to think that we had driven along this stretch of road many, many times in the past - how it has changed now that the Hindhead Tunnel is open. |

Last Christmas Ross and Emma bought us an "Unusual Escapes" bed and breakfast and we chose to go to Bampton in Oxfordshire. Before going on to Bampton we visited The Cotswold Wild Life Park where we saw, among many other animal, rhinos and a tapir which Liz stroked! |

At the end of October we went, with Terry and Joan, to Boddywelean Castle in north Wales. This is a Warner's Holiday venue and transport was provided by our local coach company - Grey's Coaches. Above - the castle. |

Jason is Graham's son and thus Liz's nephew and Phil and Bob's grandson. He is a paramedic in Kent as was visiting a fiend in Portsmouth for the weekend and joined the family for lunch. |
